Fire Risk Assessment Service
Fire risk assessments are required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005; businesses that employ more than five people must document the findings of these assessments.
The ‘responsible person’ of every business has a duty to ensure the property undergoes a fire risk assessment on a regular basis dependent on changes to the building, staff numbers or the workplace. These assessments are designed to evaluate a business’ preparedness for fire situations, based on everything from the presence and condition of fire safety equipment to the knowledge of staff regarding fire safety precautions.
Hoyles’ fire risk assessments are designed to:
- Identify persons at risk
- Identify hazards and eliminate any risks of fire
- Create a document for further action
- Identify fire safety assets and equipment
- Set a date for future assessments
At Hoyles, we are experts in fire risk assessments for commercial properties of any type and any size, from hotels to office spaces, shopping centres to schools. Our teams work across St Helens, Liverpool and Bolton, providing a meticulous assessment of every aspect of a business’ fire safety protocols.
Our fire risk assessments are accompanied by a detailed report of our findings and any necessary action required to rectify them. The reports follow the PAS 79 format, and should any steps be required to improve your fire safety, we can provide you with the services and guidance you need.
